It's a cooking adventure!!!

It has been a while since I didn’t cook a thing but this evening was exceptional as I impressed myself cooking a home made hamburger ;o) I just went into a risky experiment that gave me a tasty hamburger with the regular sliced bread, “mâche” salad, mayonnaise, honey (yeah, you read it right), sliced cheeze, ketchup and, of course, bloody beef…. This was soooooo yummy!!!!!!!!

This gave me motivation
to try other receipts with an original twist ;o)

I’lm tell you next time (if I got internet connection at the hospital…) lol

It's a GO! for my project...

I’ve just completed the financial plan for my next big personal project. I’m buying a larger appartment. This will be at Serris - Val d’Europe at the Lake District. The residential lot is known as “Carré Bourbon” from the property developer VINCI Immobilier.

This is an important milestone but another one will ask all my attention: the sale of my current place which won’t be a piece of cake as there’ll be negociations…

But till then, I got a year and half to think about it and make it a success.

Die computer, die!

My (so used to be) awesmoe iMac is a bit sick as two vertical lines appeared on the lefthand side of the LCD screen ;o(

After some browsing on the net and checking several forums posts related to my situation, it seems there’s no saving exit to this…. Poor me!!!

Now I’m already checking the price tag of a brand new Mac computer but this time, this would be a Mac Mini.

If I buy it, then I’ll give the iMac to a friend of mine who is seeking a cheap computer… Who said “swindler”? lol

Safety first!

I’ve received a set of valve LED caps that I put on my bike’s wheels and that will illuminate once in motion so that I get more visible from others on the road.

If it gives me more safety while going to work, I feel a little bit annoyed by people watching me twinkling with bright blue lights…..

If only this hasn’t made me ridiculous ;o)

Taxes galore!!!

I’ve received today the incomes taxes deduction plan for the coming year and those went worse than I expected: Initialy taxed €55/month, I’ll be giving €106/month to the State/Government! This is just TERRIFIC!!!

Now I’m thinking: shall I decide to quit my job in order to gain financial State aid and make money without moving a thumb? This makes me crazy!!!

Finding no sleep...

… makes me spend money… Damn!

I really cannot find sleep at all which is sooooo annoying as I spend so much times in front of my computer browsing the net, especialy eBay, as if I was on the go for great deals… as the one I’ve just realized: I bought a pair of bar stools, very slick and stylish ;o)

Visualy lost...

Yeah… I went to the ophthalmologist today to try contact lenses.

The experiment was a bit hard to achieve as for the very time, I had to test those lenses. The man put them on my eyes but this was an exploit as I was blinking eyes all the time and tears went down…..

After trying them on for about two hours, I went back to make an analysis and other testings. He took them out and gave me the pack with the lotion….

Once back home, I tried to put them on again and I’m now hopelessly convinced I’m not made for them (or aren’t they made for me???). I think I’ll give them another try tomorrow and if it fails again, I’ll take regular glasses….

This sounds like being a little contrariety ;o)

I’ve just received my brand new Apple laptop: an Indigo Clamshell iBook.
